Zone Franche: A network to help the world music professionals.

The members of Zone Franche: Festivals, venues/concert halls, agents, record producers, networks, markets, medias.
190 members representing 590 artists.

Zone Franche aims at:
- facilitating the circulation of artists 
- reinforcing the cooperation and the international solidarity between world music professionals.
- developing exchanges and partnerships between professionals of music record industry, live music and media.
- supporting the production, distribution, broadcasting of world music and the settlements of markets.
- encouraging the sharing of experiences and the balanced exchanges between North and Southprofessionals.

Zone Franche works:
- to organize meetings for network members and to promote world music events.
- to participate in international markets through collective stands and communication.
- to provide a web site dedicated to world music professionals and to their activities.
- to represent world music in political authorities to improve the image of world music.
- to set up research group to work on issues dealing with economic matters of world music: reports, polls and debates…
- to promote the activities of the network members.
