Yossi Yifrach is a guitar player and composer that investigate the instrument in many styles like Jazz, Classical Music ,Gipsy Jazz, rock, blues, indian music, electronic music and more. His main interest is guitar solo, influenced by guitar players like Joe Pass, Martin Taylor, Pierre Bensusan, Ted Greene, Egberto Gismonti, Ralph Towner and meny more. Through the years he played with many musicians in many different projects. In these days, he is performing mainly in a guitar solo concert. He is also a member in a jazz trio Ritual (acoustic guitar, electric guitar, nylon string guitar - Yossi Yifrach , saxophone-Hadas Goldshmit, piano-Tamir Miler). He is also playing World Music with Yatziv Caspi on percussion, and also in a solo concerts. In all these projects he is the main composer. Beside performing, he teaches guitar for more then 20 years. Yossi have a B.A. in philosophy and education, M.A in philosophy and he is writing his P.hd in philosophy of mind at Tel Aviv University, Israel.
