Born in Smederevo, Serbia in 1950.  In early 70’s,founded the most respectable acoustic group in ex-Yugoslavia, called “S vremena na vreme” ( From Time To Time ). His music at that time, was influenced by the traditional sound of the Balkans area, filled with Middle Eastern and Hindu background, as well as Anglo-American folk roots.The late 70’s and early 80’s, he spent in a classic rock group named “Tunel” ( The Tunnel ). At the same time he was writing music scores for theaters and TV, and had won many significant prizes for his work. At the beginning of 90’s he has madea great comeback of “S vremena na vreme”, and was one of the main trend setters for later appearance of the so-called Ethno Wave in Serbia. Jointly with Bilja Krstic,(a well respected female singer of his generation ), he has launched “The Bistric” Orchestra, that presented the ancient Serbian folk songs with brand new arrangements in many European countries and also in Brazil. Last few years he has been occupied with his new band called “Zanovet” and an Orthodox Christianity oriented group Stupovi ( Pillars ). During the last 25yrs. he has produced many albums of his own, as well as for various artists and took part in a lot of humanitarian projects throughout Serbia. He is also engaged in environment protection activities, making music for films and clips that are used for the purpose of awareness development of the people towards ecological problems.
