The Common Routes of Euro-Mediterranean Music is a new music network connecting professionals of Europe and the South Mediterranean countries. The CREMM aims at enforcing the creation of joint productions promoting artistic fusion, collective creation of artistic products, thus serving the mutual enrichment of the modern musical styles within the Euro-Mediterranean area as well as enhancing the integration of the South-Mediterranean professional world music scene to the European one. CREMM utilizes an internet solution that provides a tool for building member's network within the network. CREMM will serve as a database of the most relevant European and South Mediterranean organisations and individuals of the world music scene, such as concert promoters, unions and associations, record labels, media and artists interested in the musical dialogs, international exchange program in the Euro-Mediterranean area. CREMM is a public portal promoting the registered member's own profiles and activities managed by the members themselves. CREMM is a communication platform for spreading and collecting information, finding partners, and organising or forming projects.
The Common Routes of Euro-Mediterranean Music is seeking for musicians (not bands), festival and concert promoters, union, associations and relating media from the Euro-Medditerranean area* who are interested in musical exchange programs, who wants to enrich their local activities, to widen their network, to promote their activities within the professional music scene and on an international web site, as well as being up-to date in the most relevant actualities of the Euro-Mediterranean world music field.
In order to become a member you may apply by filling a simple form you can find below. The further registrations will be based only on invitations of the members!
Please note that applications will be evaluated by an international committee and additional information may be asked from you for further clarification. Application deadline: 21st of June, 2008.
Selection Notes The following aspects will be considered on the selection by the committee - the quality/style of music the applicant represents - the experience of the person or body in relating fields - the economically independence from the artistic products (e.g. managements/booking agencies cannot apply)
